Modular Curriculum

• A credit certification system that recognizes completion when students fulfill the minimum credit requirements from a prescribed group of courses in a specific academic field.

Eligible students

• Enrolled students at the University of Seoul.

Completion period

• Must be completed within the operating period of the respective program and before the student's graduation review.

Modular curriculum implementation procedure

• Completion application: UOS Portal > Academic Records > Modular Curriculum Completion Application
• Completion certification application: UOS Portal > Academic Records > Modular Curriculum Certification Application

Modular curriculum screening (review)

• Completion Certification Application → Review by Hosting Department/Program Team → Review by Modular Curriculum Review Committee
• Students who complete modular curricula and receive certification will have the certified curriculum printed on their graduation certificates and transcripts.

Notes

• Courses taken before applying for the modular curriculum are also recognized as credits toward completion.
• A single student may complete more than one modular curriculum simultaneously.
