Visa change (new students)

Eligibility
  • If you wish to study at a university (D-2) after completing language training (D-4)
Application period
  • Apply for a change of residence status before engaging in activities corresponding to the undergraduate study (D-2) residence status.
Required documents
  • Integrated application form
  • Copy of passport
  • Original alien registration card
  • One passport-sized photo
  • Fee: ₩130,000
  • Standard admission permit
  • Certificate of tuition payment
  • Original document certifying the highest level of education (choose one: Apostille, consular verification, or education certificate (for China))
  • Financial proof documents (for Hanseong University language program graduates: a balance certificate of $10,000; for graduates from other universities’ language programs: a balance certificate of $20,000 or more, issued within the last 30 days from a domestic bank in the applicant’s name)
  • Proof of residence documents (such as lease agreements, accommodation confirmation, etc.)
  • Certificate of attendance and transcript from the language institute (to be submitted upon request)
Instructions
  • Individual application: Prepare the above documents and visit the relevant immigration office to apply (pre-reservation on hikorea is required).
  • Group application: After successful candidates have been announced, the school will announce group application submissions → Prepare the above documents and visit the International Student Support Team to apply.
