Department of Mechanical and Information Engineering

The goal of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering is to train creative engineers with expertise in materials, material design and processing, and basic research skills in the development of advanced materials. The academic and research programs focus on metals, ceramics and polymers, particularly in electronic materials, semiconductors, display materials, energy materials, nanomaterials, and structural materials. Graduates are always in high demand as they find career opportunities in all areas of the industrial sector.
